Terms of Service & Bookings

Please read these terms carefully before scheduling your tour or hotel packages.

1. Scope of Services

Fascinating Andaman acts as a certified destination management operator in the Union Territory of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. We coordinate custom tour packages, hotel reservations, activity registrations (scuba diving, water sports), and private/government ferry catamaran distributions.

By accessing this web portal or paying an advance booking deposit via our integrated gateway, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Booking Verifications & Manifests

To formalize any reservation (specifically hotel bookings and catamaran transfers):

  • All travelers must supply accurate names as recorded on their government identification documents (Passport, Aadhaar, Voter Card). Any spelling mismatch can result in immediate boarding cancellation by port authorities, and we hold no liability for such occurrences.
  • A reservation request is only deemed "Confirmed" once the agreed payment percentage has been processed and a formal booking voucher has been compiled and emailed to your address.

3. Pricing, Payments & GST

All tour tariffs and hotel rates are calculated in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to dynamic swings based on seasonal peaks, resort demands, and ferry revisions.

  • All package costs are subject to standard Goods and Services Tax (GST) as specified by the Government of India. GST rates will be clearly detailed during payment processing.
  • To guarantee rooms and ferry slots during high season (October to May), a minimum advance deposit (typically 50%) is required. The balance payment must be settled as defined in your reservation invoice.

4. Limitation of Liability: Weather & Ferry Interruptions

The Andaman Islands are a maritime environment. Travel plans can be affected by weather conditions.

Critical Limitation of Liability

Fascinating Andaman cannot be held responsible or legally liable for booking adjustments, cancellations, or missed return flights resulting from Force Majeure occurrences. This includes weather anomalies, cyclones, ocean surges, government restrictions, Port Authority closures, or sudden mechanical breakdowns of private catamaran services. If a ferry is canceled by Nautika/Makruzz due to weather, refund distributions will be guided strictly by their respective carrier policies, and alternate routing costs (if any) must be directly borne by the traveler.

5. Island Codes & Permits

Travelers are expected to abide by local administrative codes:

  • Foreign National Registration: Foreign passport holders must procure a Restricted Area Permit (RAP) on arrival at Port Blair airport. It is the traveler's responsibility to keep this permit secure during their stay.
  • Environmental Laws: The Andaman Islands strictly enforce plastic bans, coral protection guidelines, and shell preservation rules. Collecting shells, corals, or littering on beaches is a punishable offense under Indian Forestry laws.

6. Jurisdiction & Contact Details

Any legal disputes, administrative audits, or booking liability disputes associated with the services rendered by Fascinating Andaman are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India.
